Senior Tax Accountant Job Opening in Snellville, Georgia - Snellville, GA CPA firm seeks a full-time Senior Accountant to join our growing firm. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic self-starter that possesses great communication skills and a pleasant personality. He or She must also enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and working with multiple clients and projects throughout the day. Must be a team player and work well with others.
Job responsibilities
Prepare individual and corporate tax returns
Prepare payrolls and payroll taxes, quarterly and annual payroll tax reports
Prepare sales tax reports
Review and record general ledger transactions
Provide ongoing Quickbooks consulting and support to our clients
Education, Experience and Skills Required
Business degree with completed accounting courses preferred
Minimum of five (5) years accounting experience
Experience preparing individual, corporate, and pass-through tax returns
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Knowledge of regulatory requirements of processing payroll accounting transactions and payroll returns
Quickbooks pro advisor preferred
Works with confidential firm and personal matters, requires ability to keep matters confidential
Knowledgeable in Lacerte software a plus
EA or CPA preferred
