Job Description:
The Sales & Marketing Representative will be responsible for increasing our market exposure and commercial sales by developing and maintaining relationships with architects and designers who specialize in large, high-end projects. The Representative will position themselves as a knowledgeable resource regarding our products and how they can benefit our direct clients (architects, designers, etc.) as well their customers. This is primarily a sales position, with other sales- and marketing-related activities.

Responsibilities:
Become a trusted resource to new and existing customers for their building product needs
Initiate communication with prospective clients to expand our sales base
Be proactively responsive to customer inquiries and concerns about our products
Creatively market our products through both traditional and modern sales and marketing techniques
Hold face-to-face meetings with potential and existing customers in order to develop strong working relationships
Create sales/marketing presentations and other materials in conjunction with our Operations team
Continue and strengthen our current marketing and sales initiatives
Provide the highest level of professional customer service by managing the entire sales process, from product selection, to order status, to product delivery and job completion.
Requirements:
Excellent time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (by phone and in person)
A proven track record of sales and marketing experience
Basic working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
Some local travel may be required (mostly NYC)
Not required, but strongly considered:
Experience in sales and marketing of building supplies, especially HVAC
Basic technical knowledge of HVAC systems and/or construction
