Job Duties:
Financial:
Assist with monthly financial statement preparation
Assist with quarterly Compilations and Annual Review
Maintain Fixed Assets
List and Depreciation Schedule
Monthly bank reconciliations
Record monthly journal entries
Process weekly checks for subcontractor's and accounts payable
Insurance:
Ensure that proper General Liability and Property Insurances are maintained
Request bonds as needed
Renew insurance annually
GL Insurance audit annually
Provide Insurance Certificates to builders and GC's as requested throughout the year
AR:
Set up new customers
Maintain customer contract file
Mail out signed contracts to GC's
Request insurance certificates for GC's and builders as requested.
Bank Deposits
Pick up checks from customer's office
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred)
1-3 years of accounting experience (preferred)
Knowledge of general ledger systems and journal entries
Must have clear understanding of GAAP accrual accounting
Organized
Proficient in Excel
Sage CRE software knowledge a plus
