Accounting Inventory/Cost Coordinator Job Opening in San Antonio, Texas - Position Description Summary We are looking for an Inventory/Cost Accounting Coordinator who is hard-working, self-motivated and shares a passion for excellence to join our team. The Inventory/Cost Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for the accurate reporting of company inventories, invoice prices, variance analysis and preparation of management reports.
Job Responsibilities
Enter and Verify Bill of Materials from Production Plants
Inventory related Accounts Payable
Create Material Invoices
Prepare and Distribute the Daily Yields and Efficiency Reports
Monitor inventory transactions and reconcile accounts
Report on variance and their causes
Ensure accurate product costing, valuation, and reporting on raw materials and finish goods inventory.
Analyze and Verify Vendor Pricing
Update Standard Cost and Material Price Changes
Prepare Month End Inventory Reports
Requirements
Minimum of a High School diploma or general education diploma (GED)
3 plus years related work experience or combination of relevant education and experience
Detailed oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amount of information
Ability to work independently. Must be able to grasp verbal and written instructions quickly, have strong mathematical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively will all levels of the organization as well as with all subcontractors and vendors
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under deadlines
Strong computer background including accurately managing multiple Excel Spreadsheets and various software
