UI/UX Software Engineer II Job Opening in Boston, Massachusetts - Teikametrics is looking for a software engineer with strong computer science fundamentals and a background in application development. As a member of a startup engineering team, the candidate must show the ability to learn fast, solve problems independently and work on a diverse set of software engineering problems.
Qualified candidates must have:
Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems
3-5 years of experience working on web applications, ideally ones that offer a SaaS platform for business users
Proficiency with front-end technologies (Javascript, HTML, CSS, etc.) and familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, Bootstrap, LESS, etc.)
Ability to set up re-usable and performant UI components, allowing for rapid development and well-organized code
Experience working with the graphing and visualization of complex dat
Strong design sensibilities and informed opinions on usability and design for web applications
Startup-level passion about wanting to take on large, challenging problems with a small team of world-class developers
