Software Developer Job Opening in Woburn, Massachusetts - Job Summary:
j2 Global® is seeking an energetic Software Developer to join an established team of experienced developers for their Campaigner® product and working to improve one of the leading email marketing products. This position involves designing, developing and deploying new customer functionality in a distributed services cloud environment.
Job Duties:
Perform requirement analysis .
Develop design options and recommendations to address requirements not only from a functional perspective, but also a scalability, performance and reliability required of a SaaS service.
Based on chosen solution, work with the development team to provide estimates and plans to deliver.
Work with a cross functional team in the implementation and delivery of new functionality and corrective content.
Continue to evolve the development and delivery processes through retroactive reviews .
Job Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor in Computer Science /Engineering or equivalent.
1-3 years of experience developing cloud services in a distributed cloud environment.
Experience , C#, Visual Studio .
Experience in developing cloud services and understanding for scalability, performance and reliability.
Experience with SQL server, T-SQL and as a bonus stored procedure and performance tuning.
Experience with SOAP/REST web services would be an asset.
Excellent oral and written communications and ability to learn quickly .
Motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment
Working with JavaEE (JBOSS, Wildfly), Eclipse would be considered a bonus .
