Tax Accountant Job Opening in Beachwood, Ohio - Ciuni & Panichi, Inc. is a regional accounting firm located in Beachwood, Ohio. We are seeking candidates for our Tax Department. Candidates must be proficient in Excel and Word, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a positive attitude. Additional qualifications include strong people skills, effective verbal and written communication, desire to work with a team, and developing client relationships.
Requirements
1 to 6 years experience in public accounting;
A CPA or plan to pursue;
A bachelor?s degree in accounting or business with a 3.0 GPA;
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude;
Strong people skills, including effective verbal and written communication;
Solid analytical skills and attention to detail;
Ability to complete research independently to assist in tax planning and compliance;
Ability to work with numerous software packages, including Microsoft Word and Excel:
Experience or a demonstrated drive to develop and maintain current client relationships;
A desire to work with and lead a team.
Responsibilities
Involvement in all aspects of client engagements including tax planning, general compliance and client meetings for both companies and individuals
Assist in the preparation and/or review of Federal, Sate and Local income tax returns
Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
Manage, develop and mentor other members of the department
Work with taxing authorities regarding notices, tax audits and client correspondences
Commitment to client service
