Senior Technical Business Analyst Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - Position: Senior Technical Business Analyst
Reports To: CEO
Job Summary: Manager of software systems and reporting infrastructure. Expert resource for systems necessary for daily operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the health of the software systems necessary for daily operations including but not limited to the Marketing, Merchandising, Operations and Executive teams
Manage the prioritization of efforts to improve and expand the software capabilities to serve the organization
Maintaining and ensuring the quality of data across the various software systems driving the organization
Provide reporting on business metrics to the organization
Lead efforts to improve and expand reporting capabilities
Lead the process of gathering requirements and defining the scope of deliverables for new software projects
Become the expert in our data systems and reporting infrastructure
Act as the project coordinator for development projects by communicating with the Customer and the Development team
Create SQL-based reporting to aid Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, and Executive teams
Job Qualifications Minimum
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent
2+ years of experience with Technical/Business analysis and Systems integrations
Background with managing and configuring technical software
An understanding of relational database systems
Proficiency with SQL
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Preferred
Master?s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or equivalent
Basic understanding of object-oriented programming
3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL
Strong Excel skills
Background in communicating across various groups within a company and presenting information to a diverse set of audiences
Understanding of Accounting and Business Management terms and principles
