Medical Assistant Apprentice Job Opening in Lebanon, New hampshire - Are you looking for a new opportunity, a fresh start or a way to launch you career in healthcare? The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Workforce Readiness Institute is seeking motivated individuals interested in training to be Certified Clinical Medical Assistants.
Up to twenty (20) individuals will be selected to participate in an intensive eleven-week training program. The training program is provided at no cost to the participant and will prepare participants to take the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam (CCMA).
Each individual selected to participate in the Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program will be sponsored by one of the following:
D-H Lebanon Primary Care
D-H Lebanon Dermatology
D-H Keene/Cheshire Medical Center
Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital
New London Hospital
All candidates who successfully complete the educational program will be hired by their sponsoring organization and enrolled in a 2000-hour U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship.
The starting wage for apprentices, at the conclusion of the 11-week training program, is between $14.00-$14.50/hour. Apprentices have the opportunity to earn performance-based increases as they continue to develop their skills. All apprentices are offered a comprehensive benefits package.
