Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Opening in Yakima, Washington - The Accounts Receivable Billing Specialty performs a variety of general accounting and clerical support tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts receivable. He or she compiles and maintains verified accounts receivable records, processes claims, and completes TARGET data entry. This position has direct contact with patients/clients and provides client financial reviews. This position serves as a liaison between medical providers, state providers and various departments within Triumph Treatment Services regarding client funding. We are currently seeking someone with a insurance billing background, capable of helping to manage multiple locations and visit types.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED with some post high school education in Accounting or Business Finance (a degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred), one year of experience in a position of similar responsibility, is detail-oriented and good with numbers, and is proficient with computers and the internet, including accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Knowledge or ability to interpret contracts and grant writing. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives, reconciles, and processes vendor invoices
Prepares customer invoices and credit batches
Reconciles statement and ledger and ensures payments are consistent with set schedules
Prints, analyzes, and distributes reports as requested by management
Maintains updated files for accounts receivable
Ensures that all accounting transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
Performs other administrative duties and/or special projects as required
