We are currently seeking for a solid Staff Accountant to fulfill the following responsibilities:
A/R
Processing all stages of accounts receivable Process invoices in accounting system and distribute them through email or mail Accurately apply daily bank deposits to appropriate customer accounts Documentation related to customers
Cash
Complete daily bank reconciliation
Record incoming payments from credit cards, checks and EFT in QB
Reconcile all cash accounts daily
A/P
Process A/P
Vendor account reconciliations
Manage invoicing entering by A/P Clerk
Processing all credit card transactions
Other
Responsible for Fixed Assets Depreciation Schedules
Assist with financial close activities Process month end bank reconciliations, credit card statements, P&L accounts
Assist with adjusting journal entries and accruals
Prepare annual 1099s
Provide assistance and direction to other Accounting staff.
Process documentation of related Accounting and Finance procedures.
Ad hoc reporting
3+ years experience in accounting
Construction industry experience a plus
Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance after 3 months of employment
