With the help of our dedicated owner operators, we are able to pride ourselves in timely and safe delivery. Owner Operators under lease to FMX will operate under FMX Liability Insurance and under our DOT Authority. What we do: FMX was founded in 2002 and is one of Florida?s largest local drayage companies. We utilize 100% owner operators. FMX has interchange agreements with all the major railroads. Drayage is available in Jacksonville, Tampa, Titusville and Orlando, FL. We also have drop yard locations in Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville. We have a centralized customer support and Dispatch in our Corporate Office in Jacksonville. Once you have become a part of the FMX team you can expect: ? $1.00 per mile loaded and unloaded plus the current fuel surcharge rate on each load. ? No Forced Dispatch ? you are able to set your own work schedule ? Driver Referral bonuses for helping recruit new owner operators ? We offer annual safety bonuses starting at $750.00 for the first year and increasing each year. ? On-site tractor parking ? Driver?s are home nightly ? Detention pay ? Stop off pay for extra stops ? Comdata Fuel Cards provided ? Fuel Tax Reporting ? Weekly Settlements ? Direct Deposit Owner operator requirements include: ? Must live within 20-30 miles of one of our terminals in order for us to get you home nightly. ? Must be at least 23 years of age ? Must have a valid Class A CDL license from your state of residence and with your current address. ? Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience (within the last 3 years) ? Must pass pre-employment drug test ? Must be medically qualified ? Must have an acceptable MVR ? no more than 2 moving violations in last 3 years ? Must not have any careless driving violations on your MVR within the last 5 years ? Must not have had any license for traffic convictions within the last year. ? Must not have any preventable accidents within the last 12 months. Tractor Requirements: ? Must have a well maintained tractor ? Must have your own registration ? FMX does not have a tag program ? Must pass Federal DOT Inspection every 3 months at our inspection facility. ? No age requirement ? Must have 3 axles ? Must be registered for 80,000 GVW Required Documents: ? Copy of your Current Medical Card ? Copy of your current Medical Long form ? Copy of your CDL ? Copy of your Social Security or EIN number ? Copy of your tractor registration ? DOT inspection (less than 1 month old) Proof of Insurance: ? Bobtail Coverage is provided by FMX ? Physical Damage coverage is offered if you do not have your own ? Worker?s Comp or Occupational Accident Insurance is required. We can obtain Occupational Accident for you if you do not have your own ?
