Landscaping Company Manager Job Opening in Wakefield, Rhode island - 855-RILAWNS is an aggressively growing, reputable company currently operating out of North Kingstown, RI. We provide mostly residential services to our clients throughout Rhode Island. We are searching for a full time manager to operate the company's North Kingstown branch. Owner is looking to semi-retire. The hired individual will be a star player, a very talented committed, organized, and sharp individual. Must not require any micromanagement and have the ability to manage their own time and take full ownership of their responsibilities. Work Hours:
M-Fr, 7:00am to 3:30pm*
*On call outside of these hours, including Fridays, Saturdays, or on rare occasion, Sundays.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage production & sales teams, office administrator, and mechanic.
Fill in when there are vacancies in roles such as mechanic, office administrator, sales, & crew foreman.
Recruiting & training of staff.
Coordinate with the accountant to perform seasonal planning, pricing, and budgets.
Monitor company financials & ensure keeping to budget.
Hold & lead company towards company vision.
Applicant Requirements:
Strong organizational skills.
Advanced technical abilities with windows, android devices, and CRM software.
Have extensive experience and knowledge estimating jobs, managing people, and handling customer service.
Be experienced, capable, and familiar with the preventative maintenance and common repairs with small engine equipment and trucks.
Willingness to learn & adapt.
Extremely reliable.
Attention to detail. So much so that they will include "I pay attention to detail" at the bottom of their resume.
Effective time management, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Ability to problem solve without asking questions.
Ability to follow directions.
Must have own reliable transportation.
Valid driver's license & clean driving record.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Clean background check.
Live local to the area.
Required education: High school or equivalent
Required experience: Mechanic: 3 years, Landscaping: 5 years
