Designer/Art Consultant Job Opening in Nashville, Tennessee - We are a national, vertically integrated art services company specializing in providing artwork for healthcare, senior living and corporate environments. This position is based in Nashville, TN, our headquarters facility. We also have a design office and production facility in Sacramento, CA. Our projects take us all over the country.
We are seeking a unique individual with a diverse set of skills. You will have a passion for art but also a head for business. You are highly creative but can also manage multiple deadlines, budgets and clients. You are computer savvy with a strong knowledge of terminology, navigation, web searches, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Excel ? and you?re fast. You are a self-motivated professional with a minimum of a BS or BFA in Art, Interior Design or a related field and have worked in an art or design related field for 2 or more years. You should also bring a high energy, positive attitude and have a strong desire to grow professionally. This is a rare opportunity in a rapidly growing company.
Requirements:
BA or BFA in art, interior design or related field
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically
Demonstrated ability to work in a deadline driven environment
Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office ? Excel, Word and PowerPoint - and Photoshop
Excellent attention to accuracy and detail.
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and presentation - and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work within a team-based environment
Interest in keeping up with design trends in healthcare and senior living
Establishing and maintaining relationships with interior designers and clients
Experience in senior living design is a plus, but not required
Flexibility to travel when required
