Field Sales Representative Job Opening in New York, New york - Field Sales Representative (Outside)
Our perfect candidate is a high energy, self-motivated, responsible and organized person comfortable cold calling and canvassing throughout the 5 boroughs of NY.
Position Responsibilities
Develop additional sales by growing our client base by cold calling, networking, meetings, and other initiatives
Maintain and strengthen established client relationships
Use available resources to develop leads for new agents in assigned territories
Contact leads by phone to pre-qualify and set presentation appointments
Maintain strong levels of communication with management and operations
Track activity into our customer relationship management system
Ability to design rudimentary PowerPoint presentations helpful but not mandatory
Occasionally be called upon to support new sales representatives
Troubleshooting problems as they relate to client support
Carry out any other duties as described by management
Basic Requirements
3-5 years related work experience preferred, but willing to train the right enthusiastic person
Self-motivated, goal oriented, self-starter with ability to conduct daily activities with minimal supervision
Ability and willingness to adapt quickly to change and to relay changes effectively
Establish and maintain effective working relationships
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office software applications
Excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills
75% to 80% local travel and occasional overnight travel required.
Valid driver's license required
Must live in the NYC or the five boroughs.
