ACCOUNTING, AUDIT & TAX (Part-time/Flexible Schedule) Job Opening in Omaha, Nebraska - HSMC Orizon is a progressive and growing CPA firm with offices in both the Kansas City and Omaha metropolitan areas. We currently have an opportunity for a CPA looking for part-time hours and/or a flexible schedule in both offices.

What You Will Do
Work directly with clients and the firm?s shareholders, principals and managers to provide services to individuals, privately owned business, government and non-profit organizations. Every day will be different and you won?t get stuck in a repetitive, routine work experience.
What You Will Be Responsible For
Assist shareholders, principals and managers in the delivery of tax, audit and consulting services
Manage own workload by monitoring projects and working with team members in assessing project status and problems
Interact with client personnel on all engagement and consulting matters
Recognize potential problem areas in projects and discuss with appropriate team members
Identify opportunities to provide additional services to help clients achieve their goals
What You Should Possess
Bachelor?s degree
CPA license or CPA candidate who has met the education requirements to sit for the CPA exam
3+ years of public accounting experience with significant tax experience and/or audit experience
Flexibility to juggle complex assignments and routine engagements
Hands-on problem solving abilities
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships
Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with accounting and engagement software
Where You Will Be Working
Our offices are located in Lee?s Summit, Missouri and West Omaha, Nebraska but you will also have the ability to work from your home.
