Working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, the Feed Plant Controller is responsible for the cost accounting and financial administration of the PotashCorp Feed Plants.
Job requirements include :
The Feed Plant Controller is responsible for all cost accounting, accounts payable, payroll accounting, budgeting, forecasting, capital projects, performance reporting and raw materials of the PotashCorp Feed Plant Operations.
Manages and maintains general ledger. Responsible for closing each month. Responsible for reconciling the balance sheet in accordance with corporate guidelines.
Manages all aspects of daily accounting, cost and performance reporting and accounts payable to be completed within corporate policy.
Manages and maintains Feed Plant budgets, assists general manager in annual planning & forecasting
Development and managing of all capital expenditures. Prepares capital budgets, forecasts, and additional reporting in regards to capital. Manage plant assets and corresponding depreciation.
Reconciles Raw Materials, Intermediate Products and Finished Products to provide inventory and cost accuracy
Qualifications:
BS Degree with Accounting Major; CPA preferred. Computer literate.
Minimum of 10 years process manufacturing accounting and/or auditing experience.
General skills requirements:
Requires proficient knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and accounting system software including; Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Oracle.
Excellent communication skills, reading, verbal and match communications required.
Highly organized to handle multiple tasks.
Use of computers, general office equipment including: telephone with voice mail and conferencing, fax, scanner, printers and copying machine.
