Senior Software Developer Job Opening in Lincolnshire, Illinois - Opus CMC is currently hiring for a Senior Software Developer position at our corporate office in Lincolnshire, IL! Responsibilities:
Work alongside business analysts to gather and brainstorm with the business to develop functional requirements
Work with vendors to integrate and streamline data, and API?s
Design, create, and maintain relational and non-relational data stores
Implement application level security to ensure secure data access
Provide technical documentation for sharing architecture, and design patterns
Refactor existing software to improve maintainability, and future functionality
Update software to meet new business requirements; such as industry regulations, laws, etc.
Collaborate on architecture, process, and design for new development initiatives that are scalable and support future extension
Lead the evolution of system architecture and development platform to support business requirements
Research, identify, test, certify, and select technology products required for solution delivery
Explore new industry trends, and solution for possible product inspiration or solutions
Provide end user support and guidance
Create supporting applications as necessary

Experience, Education and skill requirements:
College degree in computer science or related field, or 6 years prior work experience equivalent
C# 6+
Linq
Architecture experience with N-Layer, onion, hexagonal, and DDD
The gang of four patterns
SOLID Principles
Asynchronous programming
Threading/TPL
Entity Framework 6+ or other ORM technology
CSS, Javascript, HTML
SQL Server 2012 and greater
WCF & RESTful Services
XAML, XML, & HTML
Team Foundation Server
Git or TFS Source Control
Experience with AngularJS a plus
Experience with DevOps a plus
