We are currently seeking a Specialty Pharmacy Project Specialist who will be assigned to single phase or smaller projects that may require the support of others. Further, this position must provide progress reports, project plans, proposals and presentations within USB and to our business partners. The Project Specialist will possess a good balance of project management, analysis and technical skills and will be able to effectively interface between our customers and our in-house technical and operations staff. This person must be able to understand how the components of specialty pharmacy and related systems work, coordinate internal subject matter experts to successfully resolve problems, develop action plans and communicate progress to the customer.

Reporting
This Specialty Pharmacy Project Specialist position is located at 3101 Gaylord Parkway, Frisco, TX 75034, and reports to the Sr. Manager, Implementation
Position Responsibilities
Responsible for planning and ensuring the effective implementation of programs.
Develops, refines, validates and ensures completion of all project work plans.
Responsible for resource requirement definition, assignation and scheduling that will include customer personnel, USB personnel, other ABSG companies, and occasionally outside contractors.
Manages project communication with internal personnel and customer personnel.
Leads project teams by developing project plans within guidelines and monitoring progress on project milestones.
Generates timely and concise communications to functional leadership regarding project status and pending issues.
Builds consensus among multiple groups/departments relative to project scope, task execution, staffing, and issue resolution.
Interacts with project sponsors, stakeholders and various project members to ensure that specified business needs are met; responsible for the post-implementation analysis to ensure that requirements are fulfilled.
Analyzes processes and makes recommendations for improving efficiency, product delivery, and expense reduction in projects.
Responsible for maintaining close communication with internal departments and partners on detailed enhancement requests.
Completes and submits reporting and documentation on time such as, project status reports, project plans, and customer training and acceptance documents.
Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent combination of experience and education
3 years experience implementation projects. Healthcare experience preferred. Pharmacy experience a plus
Understanding and familiarity with technical concepts and functionality
Strong project management skills
Demonstrated negotiating skills
Good time management skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership and relationship building skills
Good analytical and mathematical skills
Ability to think strategically and act tactfully
Good organizational skills; attention to detail
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with MS applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio; ability and desire to learn new proprietary applications
