Sales and Business Development Associate Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Requirements:

Experience: Two years in similar position
Travel: Local (car required; mileage reimbursement)
Description : Leading supplier and manufacturer of custom-made healthcare devices seeks a Sales and Business Development Associate for outside sales and Business development strategies. Business Development comprises all efforts related to developing referral sources thru cold call sales and product presentations.
Responsibilities :
Maintain and update referral contact database. Generate and analyze weekly/quarterly referral reports. Be able to use database for mailings of newsletters, brochures, etc.
Spend at least 70% of time in the field actively developing potential referral sources using cold calling, telephone contacts, mailings, etc.
Coordinate all activities related to in-services, including scheduling, arranging for speakers, preparing promotional folders and catering.
Produce weekly reports of activity and summarize them for CEO.
Maintain inventory of promotional items, including business cards, giveaways, materials for inclusion in folders, etc.
Coordinate activities related to exhibiting at the occasional trade show or other events (most are local).
Coordinate Christmas gift-giving activity and Ballert-sponsored promotional events.
Assist in developing company newsletters.
Devise ways to develop company website and social media presence into useful marketing and recruiting tools.
