Summary:
H.M. Mac is a fast expanding construction company based in Bloomington, Indiana. We currently have several multi-family properties that are under construction and bringing cutting edge and high quality apartments and living spaces to hundreds. We have several major projects occurring in the Bloomington, IN and Plainfield, IN areas.
We specialize in the Development, Construction and Property Management of multi-family properties in our zone.
Due to our major expansion and growth, we are in need of a full time Controller.
Job Description:
Accounts Payable Functions for H.M. Mac Construction.
Accounts Receivable, including creating construction payment applications for submission to ownership entities as well as managing lien waivers.
Create, maintain and ensure compliance to budgets for all entities.
Initiate payroll and coordinate payroll functions.
Create and maintain internal financial statements for all companies.
Coordinate tax return preparation for all entities with outside accounting firm.
Coordinate distributions to ownership and investors.
Assist with tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelors of Science in Accounting or related field and/or 5 years minimum experience in business accounting management.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Computer savvy with knowledge of web-based softwares, Quickbooks or other accounting tools.
Able to use technology.
Self motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Required Education:
BS in Accounting or related field.

Experience in business accounting management.

$55,000-$80,000 annually depending on qualifications
