Staff Accountant Job Opening in Fishers, Indiana - Versatile Processing Group is seeking a motivated individual to join our accounting team!
Job Responsibilities include:
Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating and posting transactions
Balance subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries
Maintain historical records and record retention
Ability to compile Journal Entries
Assist Controller in maintaining general ledger
Assist Controller in preparing financial reports
Collect, analyze and summarize account/transaction information
Analyze trends to develop reports
Process inventory receipts and customer invoices
Communicate with vendors and customers
Assist Controller with other accounting functions, as necessary
Contribute to team by assisting with accounting projects and tasks
Other duties as assigned
Prerequisites:
Knowledge of accounting (GAAP)
Must be fluent in MS Office (Excel)
Strong teamwork mentality with focus on customer service
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Bachelors Degree
