Construction Superintendent Job Opening in Alliance, Nebraska - NGC Group, Inc. is a commercial general contractor seeking a full-time Superintendent capable of supervising subcontractors with some administrative duties. The ideal candidate would have experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of subcontractor coordination and material management.
Minimum Requirements:
HOSPITALITY OR MULTI-FAMILY CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE
Minimum 6 years commercial construction experience
OSHA 30-hour certified
CPR/First Aid trained
Ability to read and understand commercial construction blueprints
Good understanding of interior and exterior construction
Ability to lead and teach others
Ability to organize paper work and correspondence
Ability to travel
Ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
Good communication skills - both verbal and written
Able to communicate effectively with architects and engineers
Strong work ethic
Strong problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control
Responsibilities could include, but not limited to:
Coordinate all subcontractor work
Ensure all safety procedures are in place on each project
Constantly monitor job sites to ensure quality control and safety standards
Maintain effective communication between the office staff and accounting department
Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure work is in compliance with plans
Complete daily logs, paperwork and all other correspondence in a timely manner
Effectively handle multiple deadlines
Maintain relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors
Perform Project Manager responsibilities when needed; RFI?s, CPR?s, etc.
