We?re supporting a rapidly growing manufacturing and distributing company in search of a Junior Staff Accountant to add to their team in Burlington, Vermont. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance and is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to advance their career in Accounting. The company is growing rapidly in all areas of business so the ideal candidate will perform all aspects of accounting at a rapid pace with little supervision!
A successful Junior Staff Accountant will:
Process full cycle accounts payable
Provide account receivable support
Perform monthly account and bank reconciliations
Reconcile payroll
Provide ongoing support to upper management
Take on other tasks as they might be assigned
What you will need in order to succeed in this role:
Bachelors degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance or related field
Ideal candidate will have 1+ years of accounting experience
Experience with an ERP system is preferred
Excel super user
Self-motivated, team player that can work in a high paced environment and interact will all levels of management
