Scan Design has offered the most contemporary high end furniture to the Florida market for 48 years and we are expanding our company with a NEW Outlet Center in Altamonte Springs ! We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated PART TIME SALES/INVENTORY CLERK to join our Scan Design family!
Position Description:
As a PT Sales/Inventory Clerk , you would work in our new and impressive Clearance Center assisting clients and interior designers with contemporary furniture and accessory selections. You would also perform warehouse-like work by receiving furniture and moving items within the Clearance Center or to a customer?s vehicle.
Qualified applicants should have great communication skills, some retail or warehouse experience and a passion for client satisfaction!
Responsibilities:
Sell furniture and accessories to clients and interior designers.
Assist with truck transfers by unloading and placing product on floor.
Dailey movement of sold product to backroom or customer vehicle.
Wrapping sold items.
Assisting with inventory control and processes.
Provide outstanding service and positive customer relations.
Maintain store appearance, clean daily, and perform merchandising and pricing tasks.
Organize backroom and parking lot for efficient customers pickups.
Operate computer and inventory software to process sales transactions.
Continuously develop knowledge of Scan Design products.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Possess excellent listening skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.
Qualifications:
MUST have previous sales experience
Prior moving experience preferred.
Able to assist customers with furniture loading.
Excellent communication skills ( speak & read English/bilingual in Spanish a plus).
Team oriented & motivated.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be responsible, organized, dependable and able to perform general sales and backroom duties.
Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Receptive to a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Required Working Day/Hours:
Must be able to work every Saturday and Sunday. Monday?s also available but not required.
Shifts hours: Monday 10:00 a.m.?7:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00 a.m. ? 6:00 p.m. Sunday 12:30 p.m. ? 5:30 p.m.
Physical Requirements:
Continuously lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture up to 75 lbs. using proper safety guidelines and equipment.
Ability to be on feet and mobile for extended periods of time.
