Inside Sales Representative Job Opening in Belcamp, Maryland - I ndeed Hire has partnered with Independent Can Company to hire an Inside Sales Representative in Belcamp, MD.
Responsible for direct customer contact and identified prospect contact in all areas relating
to inquiries, order, pricing, scheduling, delivery dates, packaging, shipping, and resolving customer
complaints and questions.
All customer contacts by telephone, fax, and email. Acts as a liaison for account representative and work directly with the Inside Sales Manager and Outside Sales personnel for targeted account growth and retention.
Essential Duties:
Receive incoming sales calls and handle customer orders, including verification of credit terms, limits, and clearing of credit as well as customer inquiries and complaints in an orderly and timely basis.
Coordinate and manage all aspects of an order including art, sales order creation, inventory management, scheduling, credit, shipping and account collection.
Exercise account management and ownership.
Follow-up on leads, quotes and sample requests. Contact and qualify prospective customers to develop, grow and maintain relationships. Maintain and update prospect lists that fluidly blend with the inside sales managers general lists.
Submit monthly written updates of prospect contact and activity.
Act as inside back-up for outside sales on selected accounts. Managing aspects of an order including art, sales order creation, inventory management, scheduling, credit, shipping and account collection as needed. Keep outside sales advised of any developments.
Maintain close coordination and teamwork with staff concerning customer requirements.
Maintain adequate communication links, infrastructure, notes and backup documentation.
Must have and maintain appropriate computer, software and hardware skills to perform all facets of the position.

Position Requirements
Associate?s degree (A.A.) from two-year College or university; or four or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Possess a valid state drivers license, which meets Company requirements of the Fleet Management Policy and insurance requirements.
