Credit Administrator Job Opening in Norman, Oklahoma - JOB SUMMARY : This position is responsible for assisting the Chief Credit Officer with oversight and administration of the credit functions for the bank.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assist with oversight and implementation of matters relevant to the loan portfolio by working closely with the Chief Credit Officer, Loan Officers and Banking Center Managers, as needed.
Provide support for lending-related administration areas of the bank, including Loan Administration, Real Estate Processing, and Asset Recovery.
Provide assistance for lending-related support functions, including Loan Review, Compliance, and Training.
Prepare various management, regulatory, and Board of Directors reports regarding loan portfolio performance and trends.
Ensure adherence to the bank?s lending policies and procedures, providing guidance and support when necessary, to include compiling and making recommendations for enhancements as needed.
Ensure that appropriate underwriting guidelines are being followed to ensure a high quality loan portfolio, while making recommendations for necessary changes.
Manage loan portfolio delinquency review and follow-up by lenders.
Assist with research and implementation of new lending-related products, to include product and software changes, which may be necessary due to market or regulatory influences.
Assist Chief Credit Officer with special loan projects as needed.
Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
Effectively work and cooperate with supervisor, co-workers and customers.
Follow the directions of supervisor.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
Previous banking experience in areas of Loan Review, Credit Analysis, Loan Administration, Lending, loan regulatory compliance, or credit underwriting.
Experience in Accounting related area or working knowledge of bank accounting practices.
Proficient computer, 10 key, and typing skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Strong proficiency in PC applications including Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
Experience in Jack Henry bank software a plus.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team building and interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.
Strong follow through on projects and deliverables.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work is sedentary and requires the following physical activities:
Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
Frequent lifting (up to 25 pounds of paper supplies or minor office equipment).
Driving to various banking centers and other sites as needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment.
