Currently we are seeking a dynamic, motivated and experienced Tax Accountant to join us in providing accounting, tax and consulting services in this full time position.

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements using a variety of bookkeeping software
Review financial statements for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts
Prepare or check tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trusts
Understand client tax issues and situations, assist with tax research
Communicate with clients in regards to their accounting and tax situations
Assist with IRS issues and drafting responses to governmental correspondence
Assist other team members with accounting and tax responsibilities as necessary
Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Current CPA License or license in process
Prior recent 5 year CPA firm experience
Prior tax preparation experience for Business and Individuals, as well as working with business owners
Prior experience with Lacerte tax software required
High level of proficiency in QuickBooks
Strong computer skills: proficiency in tax software, Word and Excel
