Regional Sales Manager Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - Provide planning, leadership, comprehensive operational budgeting management and organization direction for central plains sales group. Responsible for the direction, engagement and success of sales personnel in building organizational capacity and growth of sales volumes from potential agricultural markets. Accurately and effectively demonstrate and communicate the strategies, ethics, and priorities of the company through the sales account manager staff to retail partners and customers. Provide communication, reporting and market information to key corporate stakeholders to maximize effectiveness in the field.
Key responsibilities:
Management and Supervision of development for all Sales Account Manager staff within the region
Responsible for successful implementation of one Major Strategic Initiative per Year
Plan, Coordinate, and oversee Sales Group Manager Meetings
Responsible for the successful execution of blanket Sales Agreements
Identify areas within region that require additional representation and assist SAM?s with planning to accomplish goals
Manage the Comprehensive Operational Budget within assigned geography
Maximize the benefit from Marketing resource by providing creative ideas and facilitating new initiatives
Support the retail Partner Network through Sales staff
Coordinate and participate in Agronomic training of staff & independent sellers
Travel regularly to support growth within region and for corporate functions
Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years Agricultural background
Minimum of 5 years of successful Sales Management experience
Strong professional skills
Excellence in inspiring, motivating, teamwork building and coaching
Willingness to embrace change for growth
4 year degree or equivalent work experience
Proficient computer skills
Willing & able to travel up to 50% of time
