Medical Collections Job Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Ajilon Healthcare is partnering with an excellent organization in Overland Park, KS to identify a Medical Collections professional to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire job to start immediately. You will be doing 50% phone work, and 50% communication via email and in person with internal staff. You will be a great fit if you have worked in a position where you are regularly speaking with policy holders and explaining the payment process. Medical Collections Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Communicate with policy holders and representatives about payment process and any outstanding payments
Communication is the most important part of your job. Ability to handle all levels of people in a professional and articulate manner is crucial.
Document all efforts and notes in Salesforce
Suggest write offs and cancels to manager
Qualifications:
Experience in Collections and/or Accounts Receivable in healthcare
Ability to work independently and solve problems
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Advanced software skills ? testing required for typing, Word and Excel
Associates Degree or Bachelor?s Degree a plus
