Chemical Sales Representative Job Opening in Greenville, South carolina - SUMMARY OF POSITION:
MetaLube is a privately owned immerging leader in the Industrial Specialty Fluids market, focused on providing superior Metalworking and Metal Finishing technology. We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to support our efforts in strengthening our presence in the South Carolina Upstate and portions of Georgia. This individual will promote sales of MetaLube Metalworking and Metal Finishing products to current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to achieve annual sales and profit goals. The ideal candidate should have at least one to two years in Metalworking and Metal Finishing or related experience in sales or technical field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve annual sales budget and all quarterly objectives for assigned territory.
Sell new accounts by promoting and prospecting within assigned sales territory.
Perform all functions of position while maintaining spending within the assigned expense budget.
Maintain and/or increase business with current accounts by establishing a call frequency adequate to service these accounts.
Develop and maintain a full knowledge and understanding of the competition.
Communicate territory needs and opportunities to the appropriate managers.
Complete all required monthly and weekly reports in a timely fashion.
Handle hazardous products or waste material safely.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor?s Degree is strongly preferred
5+ years of industrial sales success, preferably at least two years in Metalworking or Metal Finishing or related experience in sales or technical field
Proven effectiveness in prospecting, closing new projects, and delivering effective presentations
Proven effectiveness in building and managing long-term customer relationships
High achievement orientation; driven to perform and grow
Mechanical aptitude preferred
Computer proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential.
Local travel is required, and you must possess a valid driver?s license & clean driving record
