ZOMBIE flick

ZOMBIE flick Job Opening in new haven, Connecticut - ZOMBIE flick Zombie flik in early pre-production. Attempting to recapture the classic cheese of 80's exploitation cinema in a current DVD, but ramped-up to a level only current Japanese "Soft-On-Demand" productions would release. Main location around the Fairfield, Bridgeport, Norwalk, Easton, New Haven, Westport, Weston & Wilton CT area, but anywhere within 50-miles will be acceptable. (Sheesh! Bridgeport is the largest city in the state, and doesn't have a "Southwestern CT" category to post within?!?) Over 18yo ONLY. Not pornographic (xxx is illegal to produce in this State), but several scenes might push limits that I don't wish to argue. Besides, labor-laws concerning minors involved in media projects of any sort is a nightmare. That's over 18yo for cast AND crew. Amputee-actors especially wanted; nothing beats seeing an actors arm or leg chopped or shot away in a movie, and then seeing that it's NOT just taped out of view, or hidden under a shirt behind his back. I do NOT expect to get a budget that'll allow a greenscreen edit to erase a limb. But looking for on-screen talent is still a long ways off... Attempting to keep all SFX practical, and not resort to Computer-Generated gore. Though am very apprehensive of asking Iraq & Afghanistan war vets whom lost limb(s) to be "zombies". The movie may be "tasteless", but I'm trying not to be. In these early searches. On-camera talent will be difficult enough to locate (you will understand after reading screenplay), so mainly focusing upon organizing a strong (non-Union) group as a dedicated crew before looking into cast. Female cast includes 4 main actresses, all involve nudity and simulated (faked) sex, so at a later date will be searching through nearby strip clubs for exotic dancers & bachelor-party entertainers. The script is excessive enough to typecast professional actors, so not really looking for anyone wishing to break into the business. Stage-names and uncredited cast/crew would be just fine if you wish. Budgeting is a total guess; have no idea what it would cost to get through production, much less post, and then distribution. I am taking NO SALARY for this movie. If it gets made, will be happy as a pig in shit, even if I gain nothing. Screenplay has NOT been sent to any producers yet. Am curious to see how far only one man can get before needing assistance. Lighting and cinematography necessary. 95% of this movie takes place at night, and don't want outside backgrounds washing-out into a black screen that could just as easily be shot inside with a black felt sheet. Nighttime with depth is necessary. (The 1990 remake of "Night of the Living Dead" used some GREAT night lighting. And they didn't look like spotlights stuck on the lawn either!) Location-Scout needed, and gaining legal access to several specific locations for shooting. Will need at least a several-room cabin in a wooded area, preferably with a basement. No lights should be visible from neighbors. Makeup artists also wanted. Experience with silicone, latex or foam appliances is a plus. Hoping for perhaps several employees from Lake Compounce Haunted Graveyard attraction when they're not busy ramping-up for another Halloween season. Costumes may be covered, but perhaps need tailoring for actors once specific cast is locked-in. Will forward script (has been registered with Writers Guild of America, so lawsuits against intellectual-theft are much more winnable) and some prop SFX detail's (those covered already) to anyone showing interest. Payment will be in discussions once producer becomes involved. I'm just making a zombie flick that I would actually PAY to see myself, and finding-out if anyone else would become enthusiastic to see a similar movie made. Clicked "non-profit" below because everything's coming out of my day-job paychecks so far. I'm not making a profit. new haven ct connecticut
