Valley View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for an RN or LPN to become a special part of their clinical team. This is a nursing position that has direct responsibility for the entire clinical unit and is a valued team member holding a special title of Clinical Charge Nurse Specialist. The position is designed especially for a nurse who wants to improve nursing skills and work toward leadership; a training program has been designed by Superior HCM to accompany this program that leads to different levels of leadership.
As the Clinical Charge Nurse Specialist, you will manage the following responsibilities:
Provide skilled care to skilled nursing residents
Practice specialized wound care ? training will be provided if needed
Start and manage IVs ? training will be provided if needed
Manage medication delivery systems
Learn valuable LTC Policy and Procedure
Manage documentation using Point Click Care, Point Right, and other advanced documentation programs
Many other responsibilities and learning objectives
Improvement of Nursing Leadership Skills: You will also be part of a team learning new methods for 5-Star perfection in long-term care/rehab including how to manage quality measures, survey preparedness, managing nursing staff, and many other elements which lead to nursing perfection in leadership.

Requirements:
LPN or RN Minnesota licensure ? license in good standing
1 year of nursing preferred but will consider promising new nurses
