This position requires the following:
*Recent experience as a Business Development Director in a skilled nursing facility or a healthcare facility
*Should have established business relationships with local hospitals, discharge planners, social workers, physicians, etc.
*Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
*Must be able to assure smooth transition of admissions from the referring agencies to the facility
*Should be familiar with the admission process and Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance
*Must be willing to travel throughout the Chicago land area
*Should be able to develop strategic marketing plans that will enhance and grow the facility census
*Must be able to work in collaboration with the facility management team and Administrator
*Solid work history and a reputation of excellence within the healthcare community
