Landscape Superintendent Job Opening in Edmond, Oklahoma - The Landscape Construction Superintendent must possess knowledge and understand installation practices in the following areas: landscape, hardscape, and irrigation construction to include: production, scheduling, customer service, training, etc. Directly oversees foreman and the installation of landscape, hardscape, and irrigation projects on a daily basis while interfacing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Must engage with other team members to communicate daily activities, progress, etc....
Job Qualifications:
Must possess the following skill set and educational background:
Minimum of three years of experience in Landscape and Construction industry
Two year degree minimum in a construction or landscape related field preferred.
Ability to supervise a minimum of three crews/projects simultaneously.
Able to effectively train field crew members.
Proficient in both oral and written communications.
Bilingual in Spanish and English big plus
Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
Able to read plans, specifications and understand general construction installation practices for masonry work, concrete, landscape, irrigation.
Ability to use all typical landscape construction tools. Transits, laser levels, skid loader, , mini excavator.
Able to use a computer and the following programs: Word/Excel/E-Mail
Responsibilities:
Updates and coordinates with project managers and leadership as to job progress.
Coordinates with company foreman and project managers as to job progress.
Oversees the production of 3 or more jobs simultaneously.
Responsible for keeping jobs in budget and on Schedule
Keep employees informed and following Companies Safety Policies
Knows when to puruse change orders when project goes out of Project Original Scope.
Communicates and leads subcontractors to make sure work is performed timely and per plans and specifications.
Interfaces with suppliers to coordinate delivery of job materials.
Responsible that the company production standards are met or exceeded by utilizing equipment.
Responsible for vendor delivery tickets and all paperwork are processed and turned in daily per company policy
Provides evaluations for Foreman and Crew Members.
Able to read and install all plans.
Receives and reviews all job Production reports for accuracy and forwards to Accounting Department.
