Job Responsibilities
As a Skip Tracer, your most important responsibility will be to find consumer location information using company provided skip tracing tools and resources and update accounts with the location information.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
Working assigned inventory to find location information for delinquent consumers including place of employment, phone number, and address.
Reporting location activity and statistics to the management team.
Job Requirements:
As a Skip Tracer, you must be motivated, self sufficient, disciplined, and responsible, with the ability to stay productive while completing repetitive actions. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and investigative skills. The ability to interact with management and collectors in a positive and professional manner will also be crucial.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
High school diploma or GED
Ability to function in a compliance-based environment
Good attitude and a strong desire to learn
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong leadership skills
Intermediate computer and keyboard skills
Ability to work a flexible/changing schedule
Tech savvy
Strong communication skills
Call center or debt resolution experience, preferred
Skip tracing or private investigator experience is required (those without experience will not be contacted or considered)
Some college, a plus
