Technical Sales Representative Job Opening in Charlotte, North carolina - Due to business growth, a new opportunity is available for a Technical Sales Engineer to be the point of contact with our expanding Appliance Manufacturing customer base. This is a very profitable and stable International Corporation with the NA headquarters based near Charlotte, NC. The company has a reputation of quality and reliability in this niche market which has increased their market share within the appliance sector therefore creating the need for a technical person with the ability to communicate effectively to create synergy between our customers and our engineering group.

Visit our existing customers (OEM Appliance Manufacturers) regularly and develop relationships with R&D Engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing at multiple sites
Work with customers on Product Specifications and make engineering changes as needed
Deliver technical expertise to the customer while representing our company with professionalism and a high standard of ethics
Support new product launches and assisting with PPAPs
Provide first point of contact containment to customers on quality and/or delivery issues
Liaison between customer service, engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain / logistics to ensure a top-quality product is delivered on time
Coordinate sample requests, calculate cost and write quotes per customer requests
Analyze the marketplace and provide input on competitor activities
Arrange technical sales meetings with potential customers to increase sales and market share
Coordinate and host customers visits
Represent our company at industry related trade shows
Requirements
Bachelor Degree
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills / customer service mentality
Technical aptitude
Project management skills
Ability to travel 15 ? 20% domestically
Experience working within the Appliance or Durable Consumer Goods manufacturing industry
