Office Administrator/Bookkeeper Job Opening in Eveleth, Minnesota - Bookkeeper: We are seeking a self-driven, career minded, reliable and responsible person for a growing restaurant company. Must be able to multitask and be super organized. MUST HAVE at LEAST 5 years experience in ACCOUNTING !!
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of 5 years accounting experience
Assist with preparing, managing and maintaining financial records. This entails significant data entry and posting of journal entries in such functional areas as:
Posting payments
Recording deposits, debits and withdrawals
Accurately recording transfers of funds between LLCs and bank accounts
Accurately recording the moving of expenses between companies
Vendor billings and invoice payments and check preparation
Credit card reconciliation
Bank account reconciliation
Use of online banking for ACH Payments, Wire Transfers, Account Transfers Miscellaneous budget and financial projects as needed Reconciliation and reporting of sales and cost data
Budgeting, reporting and ordering of inventory
Transferring data from multiple POS to QuickBooks
Assist in reviewing each bank account to ensure availability of funds for upcoming expenses such as: Vendor payments, Payroll
Payroll taxes, Property tax, business licenses, permits, insurance
Loan Payments
Wire Transfers ACH payments
Cash withdrawals, deposits (via check scanner) Prepare checks Assist & Work With Our CPA with Year-End activities: W2's1099's
Property Tax Summaries Loan Interest Summaries
Documentation requested by external accounting firm/CPA
Other Administrative Duties: As required, provides administrative support Place orders for inventory, supplies and materials
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES : MUST have Knowledge of retail point of sale. Focus POS system using accounting software (QuickBooks) to perform the above-mentioned duties Min 2 years working of accounting principles and practices
Experience using Excel to prepare supporting schedules and budgets
Ability to calculate reimbursements, interest payments, etc.
Solid computer skills (PC/Windows platform) with proficiency in MS Office - Word, Excel, and use of internet based products
Solid skills with automated hardware such as copier, scanners, laptops, printers and PCs Strong communication skills with fluent English (both verbal and written)
Reliable, detail oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and well organized
Ability to work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow directions and prioritize workload

Salary: $45,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year
