Retail Associate Job Opening in Dayton, Ohio - A Federal Government Agency needs Full-time, Retail Sales Associates in Dayton, OH. Working with and for America's Veterans is an opportunity to help and assist in providing quality service to our nation's veterans at the Veterans Canteen Service and Veterans Healthcare System. Incumbent must possess good people skills, demonstrates excellent customer service skills in daily interactions with customers, communication, listening, empathy, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive attitude in a friendly manner. Incumbent should possess knowledge in the following areas: cash registers, and must be able to maintain a change fund and prepare daily cash and sales reports. Must be able to assist in ensuring optimum stock availability by taking periodic stock counts, post merchandise control records and inform management of customer requests and complaints.
Experience:
Ability to read and interpret instructions and perform simple calculations
Minimum of (1) year experience preferred
Ability to work evenings and weekends
