Client Support Specialist Job Opening in Toledo, Ohio - Position Title: Client Support Specialist
This position provides direct support to a large group health producer within Savage & Associates. Work hours could vary between 30-40 hours weekly depending on applicants skill set. In addition to clerical and administrative support to our agent, this role will serve as a liaison between our clients and multiple healthcare providers for group benefit administration.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
High proficiency with technology in general and online submittal tools specifically. Utilize and promote the electronic collection, monitoring, maintenance and quoting of group health business.
Foster a strong commitment to current HIPPA standards and show proficiency in secured and confidential transfer of medical information.
Intermediate application of Microsoft Excel and Publisher, to create spreadsheets and maintain record keeping that allows for accurate and complete client data records.
Maintain all eligibility records process enrollments and terminations on multiple carrier websites as well as through e-mail and fax. Demonstrate strong follow through to ensure transactions have been processed as requested and in a timely manner.
Provide impeccable customer service as needed. Readily take responsibility to resolve eligibility and billing issues as well as will serve as a back-up in resolving claim problems.
Maintain up to date correspondence and documentation, including the assembly of enrollment packets.
Foster excellent record keeping both via electronic and physical files; scanning, filing correspondence, compliance documentation, data entry and census creation.
Utilize your best interpersonal skills while fielding high volumes of telephone calls, taking and delivering messages in a time sensitive manner.
Act as intermediary support for clients on all compliance regulations, assuring adherence to Department of Labor and ERISA regulations.
Consistently demonstrate an ability to efficiently multitask in a deadline driven and fast paced environment to meet client and advisor needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $28,000.00 to $35,000.00 /year
