Somali Interpreter Job Opening in Minneapolis, Minnesota - LATN is currently seeking contract interpreters in all languages and dialects.
Duties:
Provide interpreting services as an independent contractor
Comply with the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care (NCIHC) Code of Ethics and HIPAA regulations
Perform duties in a professional manner
Turn in client worksheets and invoice within 24 hours of appointment
Qualifications:
Must demonstrate fluency in English and a 2nd language
Professional demeanor and appearance
Awareness of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice
Able to comply with credentialing requirements for independent contractors working in healthcare facilities
Able to pass language proficiency and Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice test
Must be punctual, responsible, and have a reliable means of transportation
