SQL Report Writer - Healthcare & Transportation Job Opening in Trumbull, Connecticut - Coordinated Transportation Solutions, Inc., a well established, yet growing not-for-profit non-emergency medical transportation management organization headquartered in Trumbull, CT with a footprint in multiple states. We are seeking an experienced, highly-motivated and energetic Data Analyst Report Writer to join our organization.

Summary:
Under the direction of the Vice President of Compliance, the Report Writer is responsible for pulling data, developing analysis, and creating client-ready presentations. This individual will examine and evaluate reporting requirements for various business units across the organization and will use proven knowledge of specialized reporting tools to develop monthly and quarterly reporting structures as required. He or she will provide business process analysis and trend analysis.
The Report Writer is also responsible for proactively generating and compiling reports, complete with recommended improvements to, or new requirements for, business processes, operational procedures, and their corresponding reporting structure.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
Design, develop, test and implement management reports using report development tools
Design, develop, test and implement work flow solutions related to the collection of key business information and subsequent reporting requirements
Perform statistical data analysis and interpret data results to distinguish patterns and recognize trends
Translate data results into written reports, tables, graphs and charts to convey information to management
Make presentations to the Senior Management Team about ways to achieve the company?s business goals based on the results of the data collected and analyzed
Some travel outside of Connecticut may be required for this position
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study. Master?s Degree preferred.
One (1) to three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in a similar position or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in Healthcare and/or Transportation is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient with relational database management, report development tools, and SQL job creation/monitoring
Advanced MS Office skills in Access and Excel
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to motivate and work as a team player
Able to work with limited supervision
Report writing and data analysis experience in transportation and/or healthcare organizations required
with one or more of the following is required:

SQL Reporting Services

Transact SQL
