Job Description
We have several positions open-from staff level to manager level-and are seeking accounting professionals with recent public account experience to join our expanding tax and audit departments. As an accounting professional, we are expecting all candidates to be able to interact with Firm clients in a professional manner, work well in a team environment, and project a positive attitude. This role offers the ideal candidate an excellent opportunity for personal development and career growth potential.
Qualifying candidates must possess:
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office products
The ability to complete work assignments with attention to detail and accuracy
Recent public accounting experience
Recent experience with various accounting software packages (QuickBooks and Sage products preferred)
Additionally:
Tax Department applicants must be knowledgeable of:
Federal, state and local tax laws concerning corporations, partnerships and individuals
Current professional tax preparation software (Ultra Tax preferred)
Audit Department applicants must have:
Prior experience in auditing for-profit and not-for-profit entities
Advanced skills in the application of Microsoft Word and Excel products
