DESCRIPTION
Full-Time Advanced Manufacturing & Power Systems ? DeLand Florida We are looking for an Experienced Staff Accounting Assistant for our office in DeLand Florida. Working 40 hours a week, from 8am - 5pm, Monday- Friday. Needed is a dependable individual who can multi-task with exceptional communication and organizational skills. This individual will need to be customer service oriented and a team player. They will be responsible for answering phones along with assisting the office staff with various duties. We are looking for a detail oriented self-starter who can take initiative and prioritize the tasks at hand.
REQUIREMENTS
Solid bookkeeping experience, preferably for a manufacturer
High proficiency in MS Office programs and QuickBooks
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent written and verbal skills
Pleasant phone demeanor for taking incoming calls and performing collection duties
High level of detail orientation, accuracy and organization
Pleasant, can-do demeanor
Maturity and sound judgment
REPSONSIBILITIES
Ensure effective and efficient office operations
Assisting Finance Manager on a daily basis
Maintain QuickBooks files
Reconcile cash and credit card accounts
Accurately enter employee expense reports into system
Support HR with data entry of production hours to support payroll and job costing
Maintain accurate records to support the account reconciliations and journal entries
Interface with our retail dealers and our vendors? customer service personnel
Manage office systems and assist with various procurement duties
Required Experience
4-5 years in an office related field
Manufacturing experience a plus.
Accounting 2-3 years.
Quickbooks knowledge
