Accounting Specialist Job Opening in Sanford, Florida - We have an opening in our accounting department for an accounting specialist. Primary duties are to maintain inventory in our accounting software, generate and process purchase orders, investigate discrepancies between ordered/received quantities and costs, calculate landed costs, and provide on-demand reports for management. Other duties include assisting with A/P and A/R when needed, and data entry activities, as well as some domestic purchasing.
Requirements: A minimum of one year of relevant and related accounting experience. Some college is preferred. Previous experience with accounting software is required; Sage is preferred (MAS 90/Sage 100). Must have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with advanced skills in Excel. Previous Inventory/PO management experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be well organized, detail oriented and eager to multitask.
This is a full time, hourly position (weekdays 8:00AM ? 5:00PM) with occasional overtime. Benefits include health insurance, matching IRA contributions, paid holidays, vacation and personal time.
