Bill Processor/Analyst Job Opening in Orange, Connecticut - Position Summary:
To learn bill paying process, update procedures (if necessary), reconcile accounts and budget, interface with accounting and governance, and track payments.
In addition, analyzes the Human Resources External/Staff Cost budgets in support of the planning processes, reporting processes, payment processes and vendor management.
Under general direction, assists in the development and review of financial evaluations, staff cost analysis and reporting for Human Resources and other businesses.
Analyzes the HR budgets (External Services and Staff Costs) including tracking variances and preparing reports for Human Resources and other businesses.
Works in conjunction with the corporate finance/accounting area to provide accurate and timely budget information including allocations between operating companies and business areas.
Assists in the development of in depth financial evaluations for proposed projects in conjunction with HR functions and the finance/accounting area.
Tracks and monitors expenditures and payment processing with a range of vendor.
Assist the HR Budget Coordinator. Provide requested variance analysis on External Services and Staff Costs Budget for final review for submission to HR Directors/Managers. Education and experience required:
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance or other related field and a minimum of 3 years of financial/staff cost work experience or High School Diploma/GED equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of financial/staff cost analysis experience.
Required Skills:
Able to use Human Resources Information System: SAP, or similar.
Able to use Financial Information System: SAP, or similar.
Able to use Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical skills. Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to travel to Rochester, NY twice a month. Trips will typically be 2 to 3 da.
