Position mission:
The Design/Sales Representative, under the direct supervision of the Local Business Manager, will be flexible and able to perform a variety of duties necessary for the successful completion of each job from beginning to end.
Major Duties:
Responsible for generating sales, creating new/perspective opportunities, and delivering impeccable follow through for the entire sales cycle.
Accurately outline detailed shop drawings to produce each job
Work with a wide range of customers, including homeowners, contractors and designers with new construction and remodeling projects
Interpret blueprints and house plans
Translate plans into workable designs that suit the customer's needs as well as provide desired functionality
Read and interpret shop drawings and effectively translate those drawings to the customer via 1:1 / in person meetings
Accurately use a tape measure to properly measure the job site
Layout plans on the job site floor and assist other sub-contractors, such as electricians and plumbers, with the information needed regarding the design
Intimate knowledge of CWP cabinet design and construction
Navigate our Partner Website to process, price and manage customer jobs
Interpersonal skills to communicate extensively with customers over the phone, in-person, via email and at the showroom or their residence
Assist training new hires
CRM ? Daily recording of all sales activity including, customer interactions (i.e. phone calls; in person meetings; email; text); new sales; internal communication and proper documentation through entire sales process until closed or lost
General Responsibilities:
Support CWP?s strong relationship culture through quality customer service and superior product knowledge
Provide exemplary customer service by resolving problems efficiently and responding timely to all internal and external requests
Identify and implement solutions to general problems and manage urgent matters efficiently
Actively seek to enhance knowledge regarding trends in the industry
Seek counsel of supervisor on financial concerns or other issues as appropriate
Work collaboratively with staff to encourage and support a team environment
Flexible to accept additional assignments as requested by leadership
Cross train for other positions to cover when necessary
Cross-sell products and services
Maintain professionalism while representing CWP (onsite, professional and community events and via all communications including but not limited to text and social media)
Attend and participate meetings as requested
Provide same day responses to inquiries for information to customers, staff and vendors
Answer telephone calls professionally and provide prompt follow through
Follow CWP policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of kitchen and bath design
Previous sales experience preferred
Experience using Chief Architect preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision
A keen sense of the balance of design and functionality
Ability to educate customers on all CWP products
Ability to work closely with customers and meet their individualized needs
Possess a valid driver?s license
Travel required as needed
Ability to effectively communicate via written word, verbally and electronically
Possess problem solving, leadership and listening skills
