Investment Centers of America Sales Assistant and/or ICA CSR Job Opening in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - This position is responsible in assisting the broker in all aspects, but primarily in growing the book of business. The growth of the department is to be accomplished through marketing the broker, maintaining the reputation of broker and to facilitate contacts between the broker and whomever deemed necessary, including but not limited to current and prospective clients. This position requires an individual that is highly self-motivated and organized with the ability to successfully handle multiple tasks and prioritization all while maintaining strict confidentiality. Proven communication skills are required for this position. The individual will be directed to do intensive solicitation of business through various forms of verbal and written communication. This individual needs to be a resourceful self-starter as they will, in many instances, be directed to accomplish goals established by the Broker/Manager on their own. This individual needs to ensure the broker and office are in compliance with current rules, regulations and guidelines.
ELEMENTS OF THE POSITION? Initiates and performs direct-mail campaigns that complement the goals established by the broker.? Prospects customers from various sources to include; referrals, seminars, and cold calling.? Plans, schedules and at times performs group presentations at sponsored seminars.? Insures specified number of customer appointments, calls and contacts established with the broker.? Cross-trains on all duties performed in the department.? Other functions as assigned by the broker.? Maintains effective compliance? Effective in learning/retaining information

Knowledge/Skills--? Interpersonal skills to represent the bank and ICA in a positive way in dealing with customer relations? The ability to constructively interact with fellow employees in all departments? Ability to operate various types of standard office equipment, including adding machines and computer terminals, scanners, copiers.? Good written and verbal communication skills are required? Adequate eyesight is required for satisfactory completion of duties and responsibilities? Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.? Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.? Ability to plan, schedule and perform group presentations is required.? Above average aptitude for mathematical concepts is required.? Aptitude for remembering detailed procedures and applying them consistently and effectively.? Ability to quickly learn an array of processes with little oversight.
? A minimum of two years sales experience, consisting of both outside and telephone solicitation is required? Sales of financial products is preferred.? Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, some college is preferred.? Extensive working knowledge of internet based programs, Excel and Word. Additional knowledge in Broker Technology platforms; Advisor Dashboard, Albridge, EOE, NetX 360, desirable.
Attendance--? Must be punctual and dependable
Appearance-- Neat, clean, business dress Monday-Thursday, jeans on Friday with company shirt
Working Conditions--? Minimum discomfort from noise, heat, dust and other causes?Generally required to stand for long periods of time to wait on customers? Lifting of various items with approximate weights of 50 lbs.
