Job Requirements:
Prepare and maintain client files, records, correspondence, reports and other sales-related documents.
Screen and direct callers to appropriate party; may receive clients in person at sales office.
Collect data, statistics, and reports from sales colleagues in order to prepare specific reports or special assignments as directed.
Assist in preparing sales contracts.
May assist in the preparation and/or mailing of public relation materials, advertisements, promotions, etc?
Maintain an organized and clean work area; always practice and ensure a safe work environment.
Exhibit teamwork and cooperation by performing other duties as needed, required, asked, or directed.
Sales prospecting
Booking groups and meetings
Handling various functions for Director of Sales
Assisting with internet research for various campaigns
Job Knowledge / Skills / Abilities/ Other Requirements:
Requires effective and professional verbal communication skills, including speaking clearly and using proper grammar when communicating with guests, vendors, and other hotel staff.
Able to prepare reports, charts, graphs, and documents ensuring competence of work as related to grammar, composition, and format.
