We are the only solar installation specialist in the Myrtle Beach area that can also double as a roofing installation expert! JOB OVERVIEW
Monarch Solar is currently looking for a resourceful self-starter, team player with a positive attitude, sales experience and interest in establishing a market for a new product. Solar Consultants educate homeowners about the benefits of renewable energy and its financial rewards. Consultants explain a solar report to maximize the benefits of an energy system and to provide home efficiency solutions. Consultants must be able to create interest and build value on an innovative product and are required to provide customers with information ranging from quotes to warranties, as well as investment and financing options. Solar Consultants? responsibilities also include prospecting, qualifying and generating sales leads.
This position also requires the desire to reach out to customers, and a high degree of professionalism to represent a new product that will bring our customers into the future of energy efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Visits prospective customers at their homes;
Gathers information from prospective customers to identify their energy savings needs, such as current and projected electrical usage and federal & state taxes;
Explains technical product and service information to customers, about solar power, solar systems, equipment, and services;
Initiate high-level stimulating and interactive conversations with customers;
Translates complex and technical information into a solution for the customer;
Explains financial information to customers;
Discusses project proposals, quotes and financing options with customers;
Closes contracts at client homes;
Participates in company functions.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Ability to maintain a positive attitude;
2+ years of a successful track record of sales experience and/or public relations;
Experience self-generating customer leads, exceptional follow-up skills;
A dynamic personality with a drive to reach potential customers;
Enjoys the challenge of obtaining new leads;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to organize workload;
Open to learning new ideas and products;
Must be flexible working weekend and evening hours;
Commitment and willingness to go above and beyond to meet goals;
College degree or some college experience highly preferred;
Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
Valid state driver's license.
Salary
Base + Commission
Potential of $40-$60,000
